ABOUT CHALKBOARD PAINT
Rust-Oleum® Chalkboard spray paint and brush paint converts surfaces into a usable chalkboard. Apply to metal, wood, masonry, drywall, plaster, glass, concrete, unglazed ceramics and hardboard. Erases cleanly.
- Painted chalkboards are for indoor use only.
- Chalkboard painted surfaces can be cleaned with soap and water.
- Available in black chalkboard spray paint, pre-mixed brush-on chalkboard paint in black and green, and as a tint base that can be mixed at your retailer”s paint counter.

FOR BEST RESULTS
- Apply Chalkboard brush paint with a foam roller but avoid excessive rolling.
- Before using chalkboard spray paint on an immobile surface, like a wall, make sure to adequately vent the room for the recommended cure time and protect areas from over spray.
- Once the paint has cured, prepare the surface for chalk by rubbing side of chalk over entire surface and erasing.
- Do not use an abrasive sponge to clean the chalkboard surface.
